How to complain directly to TalkTalk

For complaints about your TV, landline or broadband service call 0870 444 1820 (free from any TalkTalk landline).

For complaints about your TalkTalk Mobile service call 0870 087 8751 (free from any TalkTalk mobile)

These lines are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, Saturdays from 9am to 6pm and Sundays and bank holidays from 10am to 5pm.

You can also use TalkTalk's online email form to send your complaint. The company says it tries to reply to every complaint it receives via email within 72 hours.

Alternatively you can write to TalkTalk’s Customer Relations Department, TalkTalk Group, PO Box 346, Southampton, SO30 2PW. It says it tries to reply to every postal complaint within seven working days of receipt.

In your letter include your name, the date the problem occurred, your TalkTalk home telephone number, the names of any customer service advisers or managers you may have dealt with and a description of your complaint.

Talk Talk says you must also provide security information, which can be the third and sixth characters of your TalkTalk account password, the answer to your personal security question, the last four digits of the bank account or card number you use to pay your bill, or your TalkTalk account number.

The company says if you are not satisfied with its initial response to your complaint, ask to speak to a manager.

If you are still not satisfied after speaking to a manager, ask the company to escalate your complaint to the chief executive's office. You can also send your complaint directly to Head of Complaints – CEO's Office, TalkTalk Group, PO Box 344, Unit 19, Southampton, SO30 2NP.
